I purchased this VERY expensive collectable to be just that, a collectable we can keep for years and to decorate the room with. However, the plastic clear case was BROKEN and CRACKED. I expect better from Disney, and at this price point.I won't re-purchase from them again, which is a shame, because i spend $1000's each year, but this was not the first time something like this happened, but it will be the last.

When this set became sold out 2 weeks ago, I was afraid I would have to resort to the high prices of eBay to eventually buy it.I had plenty of time to buy it before it was sold out but due to some reviews saying that the table did not turn and the lights did not work, I was a little bit hesitant to purchase.When it finally became available again, I purchased it immediately. Am I glad I did! When people say that the photos do not do it justice, this is an understatement. I already had the 1:24 scale from Mattel so I was simply expecting to receive a bigger scale. The two cars do not compare. This one is huge and the quality of the paint is far superior to any other production LM I have seen.Just for the look, I would recommend this set to anyone serious about collecting Cars. And in case you were wondering, the lights did work and the table, after a few minutes of tinkering, is turning perfectly.

Got this item in the mail after 1 month pre-order.Mcqueen was complete broken off the base and rattling around inside causing damage to the case and Mia & Tia as well.I exchanged it at my local Disney store and the new one "looks" good but the rotating turntable does not work AT ALL. Just alot of grinding noises and no turning.I will be returning this item for a FULL refund. Very disappointed with the execution by Disney on what "looks" like a quality pc. Really a piece of junk!!
