Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort
Our Cinderella Castle Miniature by Olszewski is a wish fulfilled. On October 1st, 1971, Roy O. Disney dedicated this fairy tale castle to his younger brother: ''Walt Disney World is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney -- and to the talents, the dedication and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney's dream come true.'' Ever since, the famed attraction has remained an icon to visitors of Walt Disney World Resort and to dreamers all around the globe. This Cinderella Castle architectural model is a state-of-the-art reproduction, exquisitely detailed with special lighting. Now you can visit any time you choose, through the power of imagination.
I ordered the Cinderella Castle miniature for my husband's birthday. He was thrilled to open it, but soon found out that it was defective...The lights did not work. We tried both the power cord and fresh batteries and it did not work. It was shipped in a very large package and now we have to pack it up and ship it back. It was very disappointing and I felt bad that I gave my husband a gift that was defective.
It is like having a piece of Disney World with me. Brings back all those great family vacation memories.
I had seen this in the Magic Kingdom, and wanted it then. My boyfriend purchased it for me online, and I got it today. It is as beautiful as I remember. The lights brought tears to my eyes. I love it. It takes me to the Magic Kingdom every time I look at it. It is a little piece of magic in my living room. The detail is amazing. I can see the desk to Cinderellas Royal Table, the door to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and again, the lights are just like the real thing. Even the button to turn on the lights is well hidden, with a removable tree that seems to be held in place with a magnet, so it's not loose.
