Limited edition trading pins with Tinkerbell are beautiful! Pins have 2 stems on each one to allow great support when placed on your lanyard. Great for any Tink fan!
For a 25th Anniversary set featuring one of the most popular characters in pin trading, this should have been a can't miss hit. Instead it is at best a barely average item. The gold tone for the compas and keyhole pins is incredible, bright shiny and very prone to gathering fingerprints. Pins are nicley sized and feature fin detailing. So why the average grade? The featured character, Tinker Bell is exceptionally off character for a Disney pin. The supposedly playful smile on the compas pin is almost a Joker like smirk. The pouty faced pixie in the hat is almost unrecongizable with little detail and less personality. Pin also suffers from not having the space between the hat and feather not being cut out. And while the best of the lot, opening the keyhole reveals a Tinker Bell amost devoid of emotion. Overall designs are uninspired and save for the gilding on the key hole, we have seen these designs far too many times before. The verdict:Somebody was just going through the motions on this one. Only the excellent polish work gets it to the 3 star level.Recommendation: wait for this one to go on sale and even then only with additional discounts unless you have an unconditional love for Tinker Bell.
