I purchased this as a gift for my husband but have not given it to him yet. The changing colors of the tree are somewhat difficult to see in the daylight but it would be a nice effect if placed in a dark corner. Batteries are included which is nice.

The light barely lights up the trunck of the tree. It never gets into the branches. The off switch does not seem to work either. We had to pull the batteries out before it would stop.

The new price is great! And I love how the light changes colors
