It takes a bit to catch on to how the gun works. It doesn't rapid fire, you need to pull the orange ball at the base of the gun down to power up each shot. A bit complicated for a toddler but my 4 year old caught on with a little guided practice. The "bullets" really fire out fast which is very exciting for the kid shooter. Overall, lots of fun!
