One of my boys got this as a birthday gift. He was excited because he had been asking for a Captain America costume and I was happy I didn't have to worry about the shield.This loaded and shot discs a few times and after that it started jamming. My son is special needs and didn't understand why it stopped shooting so we'd have to deal with tantrums when it wouldn't work. We finally had to take the discs out because it was easier than dealing with the meltdowns of a jammed toy.

I have purchased the Captain America Disc Launching Shield and my kids love it. They grab it and shoot it everywhere and every one in the family including the dog. The launching discs are pretty soft so it does not hurt when you are hit by them.

I bought this shield for my 6 year old. With in a few hours the disks wouldn't launch anymore.
