About the artist: Jes Willis
From the first Disney Pin that started her collection, to the Disney murals she painted on her childhood home walls, to the frequent trips to the Disney Parks with her family, Jes has always had one goal in mind–to be part of the magic.
Mixing her talents with her passion, Jes earned a bachelor's degree in communications and specialized in graphic design. After graduation, Jes spent the first part of her career gaining valuable design and leadership experience in the advertising world in the Northeast. Then in 2014, with the support of her husband, she decided to take a risk to support her dreams. Over a decade later, Jes has worked with multiple divisions of The Walt Disney Company and has had the opportunity to be part of some incredibly exciting merchandise programs, including the grand openings of Shanghai Disney Resort, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, and Pandora–The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as well as multiple inaugural launches of new Disney Cruise Line ships and the first-ever Virtual Disney Pin Celebration in 2020.
Today, as senior manager of product design, Jes has the honor of leading and inspiring the Disney Pin Trading Product Design team. As a believer in the magic of Disney, Jes is reminded every day how lucky she is to be part of a team that can bring smiles to millions of people. She contributes to this joy through the art she creates for the merchandise alongside her amazingly talented colleagues.
