These limited release Mickey and Minnie collectible plush dolls have been beautifully recreated from the original 1933 patterns acquired by the Disney Archives in 2012. Starting in 1930, Charlotte Clark's now-treasured Mickey Mouse dolls provided the exemplar model of product quality and character likeness that satisfied Walt and Roy Disney's high expectations of Disney merchandise. But there were limited to the quantity that could be hand-sewn by Charlotte and her small team of doll makers. Because of this Walt and Roy formed a partnership in 1932 with a company out of New York City, to provide sewing patterns based on the Charlotte Clark designs for consumers to create their own authentic plush dolls.
